Wednesday

evening, I told the contractor that I want to talk to the guy on paper, the LICENSED ONE.  So, supposedly, he will talk to me on Thursday.  Wednesday, I also gave the first D that mattered. Usually, kids who get D's never comes back and beg.  This kid had a D in math class, and a D in mine, and he will not go to college because of the two D's.  saddening.  There would be a Thursday morning conference with his mom to explain his problem. 

Thursday morning,

got a note saying that the parent teacher conference was cancelled.  Weird, I thought the kid had given up. This was also my last day of work for the 0809 school year.  The teachers had to check out as well, we have a list of 7 things that we need to do before we are officially checked out:  Renew my textbooks, print out grades for records, enter grades for progress report, print out attendance sheets for state ADA, check back parking pass, check back keys, cap and gown, which I had none, cuz I don't go to graduation. I got everything done before 2pm.  and all I have to do is go back to pick up some of my belongings.

Thursday afternoon,

I called the Licensed Contractor.  I introduced myself and he started yelling at me.  Couldn't get a word in.  He just said something about extortion, that I am ripping him off. He even said that at the final inspection, if he doesn't sign, we wouldn't get it finalized, and he hung up the phone.

I then called the city to figure out if that was true.  Apparently, other than unconditional release form from the sub contractors, he doesn't need to sign anything anymore.  It's good to ask.

I tried back again, and the same thing, yelling, I asked him if he knew his license doesn't permit partners, and all he could said was how he runs his business doesn't concern me, and again, he hung up the phone. 

Friday

First day of summer. I already got yelled at by 2 people in a short 12 hours since I got out of work.  SIGH!  Spoke to contractor for 40 min.  Apparently, the LICENSED GUY lends out his license for 3% of the total job majority of the time, but the partnership with this UNLICENSED contractor is a bit different, he will buy material from a specific store, and the store will cut him some profits.  that's how he makes money.  And the reason why we can't find him.  Well, he fix up a house, sells it, and then RENTS it back from the new owner and then, sublets it out for more, and he would stay in one room of the house until the room is rented out, then, he moves again, so we could never find him.  sneaky. 

Friday night. 

I took both kids on my bed to sleep.  It was a big challenging trying to find a bit of space in between the two kids to sleep is a bit challenging.  But I got through majority of the night, if this works out, We might just have a big slumber party every day.

Friday Morning,

Engel is going to attend KT's graduation.  So, I am home alone with the kids.  Mom has a lunch date with 2nd aunt, widow of dad's second brother. I am making some beef veggie soup in the high pressure cooker that engel's mom bought us, and marinating some beef to make green onion pancake roll with beef.
