the architect came by to inform me that the licensed contractor is going to sue us, put a lien on the house.

I was surprised by this action, because I have never met this guy, he's never done anything for us. but apparently, the unlicensed guy is arranging a meeting for me to meet this licensed guy. I am just going to explain to him what the whole situation is. hopefully we can come to an understanding.

before the architect left, I asked him if he had a license. he said, he didn't. and he never mentioned that he did.

I was in shock. seriously. this is a conspiracy to defraud homeowners..
